It is a low-rise commercial building with a bakery cafe and a restaurant built on a highway near Yuigahama Beach. By aligning the walls of the main two-story part with the wall lines of the neighboring buildings, consideration is given to blend in with the townscape. The outer wall is copper-roofed, Sansui stone and plastered, and by dividing the volume, we aimed for a modest appearance that matches the scenery of the ancient city of Kamakura.
由比ヶ浜海岸からほど近い街道に建つ、ベーカリーカフェとレストランが入る低層商業建物です。
主要２層部分の壁面を、近隣の建物の壁面線に合わせることにより、街並みと馴染むよう配慮しています。
外壁は銅葺き、山水石そして左官仕上げとし、ボリウムを分節することにより、古都鎌倉の景観に則した慎ましやかな佇まいを目指しました。
On the first floor is a bakery cafe that carefully makes bread that is gentle on the body, using ingredients such as homemade natural yeast. Although the site faces north, we created a light well in the lower floors to create a space where gentle light pours in quietly. The second floor is a yakiniku restaurant that uses Chinese herbal wagyu beef. While creating a large opening facing the front yard where the light from the sky fogs up, we narrowed down the opening to the hustle and bustle of the highway ahead, aiming for a calm space.
一階は、自家製天然酵母など素材に拘りからだに優しいパンを丁寧に作っていらっしゃるベーカリーカフェ。北向きという敷地条件ですが、低層部には光井戸をつくり、優しい光が静かに注ぐ空間を目指しました。
二階は、漢方和牛肉を使った焼肉レストランです。空からの光が霧らう前庭に向けて大開口を設けながらも、その先の街道の喧噪への開口を小さく絞り、落ち着いた空間を目指しました。
